A donation to the Foundation on Caring Sunday will help provide support and care for families struggling with poverty in our community. Your donation will support over 50 community organisations who provide a safe refuge for women and children, emergency housing, support of at risk-youth and so much more. Thank you! Our Parish Playgroup is looking for a new coordinator. We need someone who is willing to spend a couple of hours each week to attend sessions and assist the Playgroup Committee with planning and administration. Lots of support and resources available. Some reimbursement to cover costs.

G.I.F.T. a small of residential care for people with intellectual disabilities. Two residential homes are situated next to the Good Shepherd Parish Church and Good Shepherd Primary School in Balmoral. Attention is given to all aspects of our resident’s lives. In addition to growth and development programmes we also focus on the spiritual dimension of life and active participation in Church life. We now have a vacant room ready for occupancy for an adult with Intellectual Disability. We are a Catholic organization but we welcome other faith.
