Prolife Facts: In a recent survey, NZ GPs reported hastening the deaths of their patients by using treatments or drugs to relieve pain. This is normal, lawful and ethical practice of medicine. Death can hastened as a side- effect of the palliative care but this does not constitute euthanasia. None of the doctors used drugs or the treatment to kill their patients.
