YOUTH PRAYER
O God, we pray and beseech you
to guide and protect the young people of New Zealand
from the dangers that are ever present in our world today.
Be with them, as they experience both sickness and health,
sorrow and joy,
loneliness and friendship,
success and failure.
Gracious God,
give to them the courage and strength
to make the right decisions
as they journey through life.
Through the power of the Holy Spirit,
may they come to know and experience your loving care.
We make this prayer through Christ Our Lord.
Amen.

Parish Youth Group- SMYFs
Motto: “With God, we will grow with each other in faith, family and love, leaving no one behind.”
SMYFs (standing for St Mary’s Youth Family) have been running in the Parish since 2016. With the goal of “Bringing Youth closer to Christ”, we run monthly sessions combining scripture, fellowship, fun and of course food! We also hold pop up sessions and attend events around the Diocese.
Sessions run 7-9pm in the Church Hall. All are welcome.

Manna
An extension of SMYFs, Manna sessions are Bible study sessions for Young Adults (16+). Inspired by the biblical symbolism of bread as a source of life, we explore the manna in the wilderness, Jesus’ miraculous feeding, and his identity as the “Bread of Life”. Through fellowship, scripture study, praise, and worship, we aim to create a spiritually enriching and enjoyable experience that fosters community and faith growth.
We run 7-8:30pm in the Committee Room.
